Sell Your Chametz Form

On Pesach a Jew is prohibited, not only to eat chametz, but, even to own chametz. Chametz includes many grain based products we may not think of - such as beer, vodka, and whiskey in addition bread, cereal, pasta etc. Chametz remaining in the ownership of a Jew during Pesach is not Kosher even after Pesach.

For this reason, all chametz that will not be eaten by 11:13am or burned by 12:17pm on Wednesday Aoril 1, and all chametz utensils that will not be thoroughly Koshered for Pesach should be sold and stored away in a designated area of the house for the duration of Pesach.

After Pesach we will buy it back for you and you will be free to enjoy it. Kosherly.

This form below allows Rabbi Deren to act as your agent in selling your Chametz; without your Chametz physically leaving your property. This way, you as a Jew do not legally even own Chametz on Pesach.

Delegation of Power for the Sale of Chametz
I the undersigned, fully empower and permit Rabbi Yechezkel Deren to act in my place and stead, and on my behalf to sell all chametz possessed by me, knowingly or unknowingly as defined by the Torah and Rabbinic Law (e.g. chametz, possible chametz, and all kind of chametz mixtures).

Also chametz that tends to harden and adhere to surfaces of pans, pots, or cooking utensils, the utensils themselves, as well as pet food that contain chametz and mixtures thereof.

Rabbi Deren is also empowered to lease all places wherein the chametz may be found, particularly at the address listed below, and elsewhere.

Rabbi Deren has full right to appoint any agent or substitute in his stead and said substitute shall have full right to sell and lease as provided herein.

Rabbi Deren also has the full power and right to act as he deems fit and proper in accordance with all the details of the Contract of Sale used in the transaction to sell all my chametz, chametz mixtures, etc., as provided herein. This power is in conformity with all Torah, Rabbinic and Civil laws.
