Do you have a son in Grade 7 or 8 approaching his Bar Mitzvah? Or has he reached this milestone, but you haven't yet celebrated and you're unsure where to begin? Perhaps you've planned the party but are looking to add more meaning to your sons Bar Mitzvah experience. If you want to make this moment really count, the Bar Mitzvah Club is the perfect place for your son! 

At Bar Mitzvah Club your son will learn of the great significance of becoming Bar Mitzvah and the responsibilities of a young Jewish Man. He will learn how to put on Tefillin and feel comfortable in Shul. He will understand his place in the long rich History of Am Yisrael. All through fun and creative hands on activities.

When:

The club will meet on eight monthly lessons on Mondays from 7:00 - 8:30pm, running from October through May. The program will feature engaging Torah learning, along with a variety of hands-on activities and creative crafts. In addition to the Monday meetings we will have two Sunday morning Tefillin breakfasts and two Shabbat Morning Shul experiences. The boys will also be invited to an exclusive Bar Mitzvah boys Shabbat Dinner and a grand year end celebration.

Meetings will generally be held at Chabad of Maple and lead by Rabbi Chezky Deren.

Cost and Payments :
$450 - The cost of the club for the whole season.

A $100 discount is applied for previous and current Chabad Maple Hebrew School students.

Bar Mitzvah Club runs alongside individually tailored one on one training for Torah reading. Signing up for Bar Mitzvah club Includes three complimentary, one on one, 30 minute Bar Mitzvah lessons with Rabbi Deren.
